Check = the operator says yes. Dash = the operator says no. Question mark = the operator does not say; ask before you go. Miles are straight-line from the Juno Beach Pier entrance.
Features, fees and hours come from each operator's own page (Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation, the Town of Jupiter or Florida State Parks), checked 2026-10-19. "Guard availability may change without notice—look for the condition flag before swimming." Juno Beach Park and Loggerhead Park are on the guarded list. Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation: Beaches
The county says Ocean Rescue guards fourteen oceanfront and inlet parks, usually from 9:00 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. when a condition flag is flying. Swim near a lifeguard, read the flag sign and call the North County conditions line, 561-624-0065, before you go.

Loggerhead Park and Juno Dunes
About 0.6 mile south at 14200 U.S. Highway 1. The county lists 900 feet of guarded beach on 19.17 acres, a nature trail, picnic areas with grills, six family shelters, a playground, restrooms and showers. Surfing and saltwater fishing are not permitted in the guarded area. Loggerhead Marinelife Center sits in the park. The oceanfront tract of Juno Dunes Natural Area uses this park’s parking and restrooms.

Coral Cove Park

Dogs: where they can and cannot go
Palm Beach County says dogs are not allowed on county beaches, except service animals as defined by the ADA. That covers Juno Beach Park, Ocean Cay Park and Loggerhead Park. Jupiter Dog Beach runs along A1A from crossover marker #26, north of Ocean Cay Park, to marker #57, south of Carlin Park. It starts north of Ocean Cay Park, not at the pier. Restrooms and showers are at Ocean Cay Park and Carlin Park, and Friends of Jupiter Beach provides free waste bags at the crossovers. Loggerhead Marinelife Center does not allow pets on its campus either.
- Palm Beach County says: "dogs are not allowed on county beaches, with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA." It points dog owners to Jupiter Dog Beach. Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation: Beaches
Accessible beach access
The county publishes no accessible-space counts. It lists an ADA beach mat at Ocean Cay Park and Jupiter Beach Park, and a beach surf wheelchair at Carlin Park and DuBois Park; contact a lifeguard to arrange it. The county says to call ahead, because erosion or construction can make mats and wheelchairs unavailable, and lifeguards cannot help transfer a person into the beach wheelchair. MacArthur Beach State Park offers beach wheelchairs on request from a ranger.
Turtle season on every beach here
LMC says nesting season runs from March 1 to October 31. On any of these beaches, keep lights off at night, take your gear off the sand before dark, fill in holes and stay off the dunes. LMC calls its monitored stretch one of the most densely nested beaches in the world. Read the sea turtle guide before a night walk.
- Loggerhead Marinelife Center says nesting season "runs annually from March 1 to October 31." FWC's lighting guidance likewise says decorative lights should stay off until "after sea turtle nesting season ends, October 31." Loggerhead Marinelife Center: Research; FWC: Sea Turtles and Lights
- Loggerhead Marinelife Center says its monitored 8.5 miles of beach, from the Jupiter Inlet Colony south to John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, is "one of the most densely nested beaches in the world, with peak years of more than 20,000 nests." Its Turtle Walk page says "Juno Beach, however, is one of the densest nesting sites for loggerhead sea turtles in the world." These are LMC's claims. Loggerhead Marinelife Center: Research; Guided Turtle Walks
- Loggerhead Marinelife Center asks beachgoers never to approach or touch a nesting turtle, to keep lights off including flash and phones, to let hatchlings crawl to the sea on their own, to use marked beach accesses and stay off dunes, to remove chairs, umbrellas and gear before dark, and to fill in holes and knock down sandcastles. It says touching, prodding or shining lights on a nesting turtle, and removing hatchlings from a nest, is illegal. Loggerhead Marinelife Center news release, Feb. 11, 2026

Questions
Are there lifeguards at Juno Beach Park?
Yes. Palm Beach County lists Juno Beach Park and Loggerhead Park among its guarded beach parks, and says swimming areas are guarded year-round, seven days a week, from 9:00 am to 5:20 pm at most parks when a condition flag is flying. Juno Beach Park has 300 feet of guarded beach. Guard availability can change without notice.
Can I surf or swim near the pier?
Palm Beach County says Juno Beach Park has a daily designated surfing area, but surfing and saltwater fishing are not permitted in the guarded swimming areas. Swim in front of the lifeguard tower and check the flag first.

What do the beach warning flags mean?
Florida uses a uniform beach warning flag program in four colours, with signs on the beach explaining each one, according to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. DEP says the flags warn about overall surf conditions and do not specifically mark rip currents. Read the sign by the lifeguard tower, and check the county's daily beach conditions before you swim.
How can I check beach conditions before I go?
Palm Beach County posts daily beach conditions online after 9:00 am, covering water, weather, flag colour and hazards such as Man-O-War or sea lice. For north county beaches, including Juno Beach, the conditions line is 561-624-0065.

Can I bring my dog to Juno Beach?
Not to the county beach parks. Palm Beach County says "dogs are not allowed on county beaches, with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA", and points dog owners to Jupiter Dog Beach instead. Loggerhead Marinelife Center also does not allow pets on its campus.
