Parking

Juno Beach Pier parking: lots, fee status and evening hours

The short answer

Juno Beach Pier parking is the Juno Beach Park lot at 14775 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach, Florida. Palm Beach County's beaches page lists parking fees at two other parks, not this one. July 2026 news reported a planned charge for out-of-county visitors, with residents kept free. As of Oct. 19, 2026 we found no confirmation it is collected here, so check the signs.

Last checked October 20, 2026

From a dune crossover with sea oats and a signpost, a wide sandy beach slopes down to blue water; sunbathers, a beach umbrella and a red flag are scattered on the sand, and a long pier with two roofed shelters runs out to sea on the right under puffy clouds.

The pier’s lot is inside Juno Beach Park, run by Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation. The fee question is the one other guides get wrong, so we start with what each source says, dated, and what we could not confirm. The tool below lists every lot near the pier with its source.

Is parking at Juno Beach Park free?

What Palm Beach County’s beaches page says

The county’s beaches page says: “While admission to the park is free, there are parking fees at” R. G. Kreusler Memorial Park in Palm Beach and South Inlet Park in Boca Raton. Juno Beach Park and Loggerhead Park are not on that list. The county lists parking as a Juno Beach Park amenity and gives no space count.

What the news reported in July 2026

WLRN published a Stet News report on July 16, 2026 headed “Palm Beach County drops plan to charge residents for beach parking”. It said commissioners “have abandoned plans to charge county residents to park at 12 beachfront parks”, named “Juno Beach and Loggerhead parks in Juno Beach” among the parks where residents would need parking passes, and said the fees “won’t go into effect until Oct. 1, the start of the county’s new fiscal year.” It also said “Street parking along State Road A1A near the parks would remain free.”

WPTV reported, under the headline “Palm Beach County reverses course on beach parking fees, keeps parking free for residents”, that “The county still plans to move forward with charging nonresidents for parking” and that residents “will need to obtain a free resident beach parking pass which has not yet been established.” Neither report gave a confirmed visitor rate for Juno Beach Park.

What we could not confirm

As of Oct. 19, 2026, we found no county notice or news report confirming that a visitor charge is being collected at Juno Beach Park, and the county’s beaches page still lists fees at the two other parks. We found no published pay station, ParkMobile zone or resident pass process for any lot near the pier. We will update this page when the county publishes one.

Before you park

Check the signs at the lot. If a pay sign is posted, it is the rule that applies that day. If you live in Palm Beach County, ask Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation whether you need a resident pass.

Pier fees are not parking fees

Walking on the pier or fishing from it costs money whatever you pay to park. LMC charges these at the Pier House. See pier hours and fees.

Lots near the pier

  • Juno Beach Park lot, 14775 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach. Palm Beach County. Not on the county’s fee list. Park hours sunrise to sunset. No space count published.
  • Ocean Cay Park, 2188 Marcinski Road, Jupiter, just north. Palm Beach County. Not on the fee list. The county’s Jupiter Dog Beach page says “Parking is free” at Ocean Cay and Carlin parks. An older county notice about overflow parking here is not on the current county page, so do not count on it.
  • Loggerhead Park, 14200 U.S. Highway 1, Juno Beach, about 0.6 mile south. Palm Beach County. Not on the fee list. Serves Loggerhead Marinelife Center and the Juno Dunes oceanfront tract. Closes at sunset.
  • A1A north of Ocean Cay Park, Jupiter. The Town of Jupiter’s 2026 beaches map marks “Free Parking (street parking available along A1A corridor)”. It gives no lot names, counts or hours.
  • Carlin Park, 400 S. State Road A1A, Jupiter, about 2.6 miles north. Palm Beach County. Not on the fee list. Sunrise to sunset; lighted courts open until 10:00 p.m.
  • John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, 10900 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach. This is a park entrance fee, not a meter: $5.00 per vehicle (2 to 8 people), $4.00 single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle, $2.00 pedestrians, bicyclists and extra passengers. We quote it from the Friends of MacArthur Beach State Park because the Florida State Parks page refused our request; confirm it with the state park.
  • Bluffs Square Shoppes, 4300 U.S. Highway 1, Jupiter. A private shopping center lot that OpenStreetMap tags for customers. No public beach parking is published here. Do not use it for the beach.

Evening pier visits and the sunset closing

The county beach parks around the pier, including Juno Beach Park, are open sunrise to sunset. LMC’s standing pier schedule shows later winter hours, but since Feb. 19, 2026 it has posted sunrise to sunset pier hours and does not say when the late hours return. Neither operator says how an evening pier visitor parks after the park closes. If you plan to fish after dark this winter, call the pier on 561-855-6185 before you set out.

  • Loggerhead Marinelife Center's pier page shows both a standing November 1 to February 28 schedule (6 a.m. to 10 p.m., to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays) and a notice that pier hours have been sunrise to sunset since February 19, 2026. Whether the late-night winter hours apply from November 1, 2026, during the refurbishment, is not stated. Tell readers to check with the pier. Loggerhead Marinelife Center: Juno Beach Pier, Hours

Accessible parking and beach access

Palm Beach County publishes no accessible-space counts for Juno Beach Park, Loggerhead Park, Ocean Cay Park or Carlin Park. Ocean Cay Park and Jupiter Beach Park list an ADA beach mat. Carlin Park and DuBois Park list a beach surf wheelchair; contact a lifeguard to arrange it. The county says to call ahead because erosion or construction can make mats and wheelchairs unavailable. Lifeguards cannot help transfer a person into the beach wheelchair.

TurtleFest weekend parking

LMC’s 22nd TurtleFest is set for Feb. 20 and 21, 2027 at Loggerhead Park. LMC’s FAQ, still last year’s text, says all parking is free and off-site at FPL, 700 Universe Blvd, Juno Beach, with a free shuttle every 15 minutes, and that handicap parking is the one kind available in Loggerhead Park on event days. Check LMC’s page for the 2027 plan. Event dates are on the events page.

  • Loggerhead Marinelife Center says it will host its 22nd Annual TurtleFest on February 20-21, 2027, 10am to 5pm, at Loggerhead Park in Juno Beach, with free admission. It says over 15,000 guests came to TurtleFest 2026. Loggerhead Marinelife Center: TurtleFest
  • For TurtleFest, Loggerhead Marinelife Center says all parking is free and off-site at FPL, 700 Universe Blvd, Juno Beach, FL 33408, with a free shuttle every 15 minutes; only handicap parking is available in Loggerhead Park on event days. These details are from the 2026 FAQ still on the page. Loggerhead Marinelife Center: TurtleFest, Map & Parking and FAQs

During the pier refurbishment

LMC says refurbishment began June 1, 2026 and is phased, with sections closed while worked on. Neither LMC nor the county has published any lot closure or parking change for the project. Read the refurbishment log and check LMC before you go.
